Tamil Nadu Revenue Augmentation Committee | Current Affairs MCQ
The Tamil Nadu government has constituted a six-member Revenue Augmentation Committee chaired by economist Montek Singh Ahluwalia, former Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission. The committee will suggest measures to strengthen the state’s tax and non-tax revenues, improve compliance, plug revenue leakages and identify new or underutilised sources of revenue.
