Earth is our home planet. Earth is the 3rd closest planet to the sun. The distance between the Sun and the earth is approximately 93 million miles. Sun's light reaches earth in about eight minutes. Now a large number of road accidents are being reported daily in the newspapers and on social media. Many people lose their lives and many more get injured in these road accidents. The number of road accidents has increased due to an increase in the number of vehicles on the roads. When you’re driving a vehicle, keep 100% of your attention on driving and no multi-tasking. Never use mobile phones while driving. We should not stop the vehicle by applying brakes abruptly unless it is necessary to do so. “Each One, Teach One” is an African-American proverb. This phrase originated in the United States of America during the times of slavery when Africans were denied education. When an enslaved and suppressed person learned how to read or write, it became his duty to teach someone else. India is a big country and its population is about 139 crores.  But it is a cause of regret that even after more than 70 years of independence, about 27% of its population is completely illiterate. We cannot imagine a world without water. Water is important for the survival of human beings, animals, trees and plants. Apart from drinking, it is used for cooking, washing, bathing and cleaning. It is also used in agriculture. Water present in the atmosphere absorbs the heat of the sun. Water is also needed for power generation. The entire earth consists of 71% water out of which only a small percentage is drinkable fresh water. We should refrain from wasting, misusing or overusing water resources.
